Zymes, LLC Secures Worldwide Rights to Solubilization Technology

Zymes announced that it has received worldwide rights to the National Research Council (NRC) of Canada’s ground-breaking solubilization technology, Ubisol-Aqua™. The technology will help pharmaceutical, nutraceutical and cosmetic industries overcome solubility problems associated with lipophilic compounds in water.
Ubisol-Aqua™ uses a two-pronged approach to achieve solubility, complexation, and particle size reduction to the nanometer level to better solubilize and reformulate drugs, nutrient and cosmetic ingredients that are water-insoluble. This combined approach produces significant advantages over other competitive solubilization technologies.

It can also enhance nutritional and cosmetic products by increasing the bioavailability of active ingredients in liquid, topical, tablet or capsule form.
